What to see and do at Coco Cay, Bahamas

Coco Cay or Little Stirrup Cay is Royal Caribbean's private island in the Bahamas

It is adjacent to Great Stirrup Cay which is Norwegian's private island.  The island was previously known as Little Stirrup Cay, but was renamed and transformed into a destination for Royal Caribbean guests in 2019.  It is one of the Berry Island approximately 55 miles north of Nassau.

We were on one of two ships (Independence and Harmony) that docked at the island for the day.  Some of the activities had a fee associated with them. We went to the water park which included a wave pool and the tallest waterslide in North America.  We enjoyed the waterslides. In the afternoon, we went to the beach and spent some time snorkeling there.  

Coco Cay offers a range of activities and attractions for visitors of all ages. Some of the most popular attractions include the Thrill Waterpark, which features a range of waterslides and a wave pool, and the Up, Up and Away helium balloon ride, which offers stunning views of the island and the surrounding ocean.

In addition to these attractions, Coco Cay also has several beaches, including Chill Island, South Beach, and Coco Beach Club. Visitors can relax on the beach, swim in the crystal-clear water, or participate in water sports like kayaking and paddleboarding.

For those who are looking for a more active vacation, there are also options for zip lining, snorkeling, and jet skiing. And, for those who prefer a more relaxing experience, there are beach cabanas available for rent, as well as hammocks and beach chairs.

Overall, Coco Cay is a beautiful and fun-filled destination that offers a wide range of activities and attractions for visitors to enjoy.
