What to see and do in Austin, Texas

Austin is the capital of the state of Texas and is adjacent to it's Hill Country region

The Hill Country region includes Lake Travis. The University of Texas is located near downtown. Austin is known for its live-music on Sixth Street centered around country, blues and rock. It is also known for its vibrant cultural scene, outdoor recreation, and technology industry.

I have been to Austin many times and last visited there on 11/5/2015.   One of my favorite places to visit is the Oasis restaurant on Lake Travis.
