What to see and do at the Dole Pineapple Plantation, Oahu, Hawaii
Dole Pineapple is a former plantation and cannery on the island of Oahu in Hawaii
It was founded in 1876 by James Dole, who came to Hawaii from California in search of a more tropical climate to grow pineapples. The plantation flourished and became the largest employer on the island, at its peak.
We visited the Dole Pineapple Plantation on 12/14/2023. While there we walked around the grounds of the plantation, visited the gift shop and had a bowl of ice cream with pineapple slices.
