Rincon is a town located in the western part of Puerto Rico, known for its beautiful beaches, surfing and it's sunsets

It is situated on the coast of the Caribbean Sea, and it is known for having some of the best surfing spots in the Caribbean. These include Domes, Marias, Tres Palmas, Sandy Beach, and Pools Beach.

We previously visited Rincon on 12/26/2005. While there, we visited the Domes Beach and the Punta Higuero Lighthouse.

On 9/14/2023, we checked into the Rincon Beach Resort for a two night stay. From here, we visited beaches and other sites from Isabela in the north to La Parguera in the south. It is conveniently located just north of Mayaguez and there are several nice restaurants nearby. We had planned to go snorkeling here but the water was too rough from a recent hurricane.

The town is popular among tourists and locals alike, with a wide range of activities and attractions to enjoy. Some of the popular activities include surfing, scuba diving, snorkeling, and fishing. Rincon's beaches are also known for their calm waters, making them ideal for swimming and other water activities.

In addition to its beaches and water sports, Rincon has a vibrant cultural scene, with many art galleries, live music venues, and festivals throughout the year. The town is also home to a variety of restaurants and bars, serving up a range of local and international cuisine.

Rincon is a popular destination for those seeking a laid-back, tropical getaway, with plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy the natural beauty of Puerto Rico.
