Crash Boat Beach is situated near the town of Aguadilla, which is on the northwestern coast of Puerto Rico. The beach gets its name from the old pier, which was once used as a launching point for military rescue boats. The pier's remnants still stand and provide an iconic backdrop for this Caribbean beach.

We first visited Crash Boat Beach on 9/14/2023. We had planned on going snorkeling there. But unfortunately, due to a rough surf from a recent hurricane, we were not able to do so. On 3/5/2025, we went back to Crash Boat Beach. This time the surf was calm and we were able to go swimming there.

Visitors can enjoy a range of activities at Crash Boat Beach, including swimming, sunbathing, snorkeling, and picnicking. The clear, turquoise waters are normally perfect for swimming, and the coral reefs make it a great spot for snorkeling and diving.
