Boquerón is a coastal village located in the southwestern part of Puerto Rico

It is situated within the municipality of Cabo Rojo, which is known for its beautiful Caribbean beaches and natural attractions. Boquerón Beach, also known as Playa Boquerón, is the main beach in the area and is famous for its crystal-clear waters, soft golden sands, and palm trees. We visited Boquerón on 9/14/23.  While there, we went swimming at the beach.  The waters there are calm and clear.   Centro Vacational Balnearion Boqueron has some vacation rentals available on the beach. However, most of the buildings are in need of repair.
