San Cristobal Canyon, Puerto Rico: The Deepest Canyon in the Entire Caribbean
San Cristobal Canyon (Canon San Cristobal), located in the heart of Puerto Rico between the towns of Barranquitas and Aibonito, is one of the island’s most breathtaking natural treasures. We visited San Cristobal Canyon on 3/8/2025. We hiked down the Cascada el Ancon trail to the waterfall and then returned by the same route. There is very limited parking available at the trailhead.
