What to see and do in Xocenpich, Mexico

Xocenpich is a small Mayan village in Mexico which includes the Cooperativa Maya Ixchel

Xocenpich is known for its traditional Mayan culture and historical significance. Many of the area residents still speaking the Mayan language. The Tixcacalcupul region is also known for its many cenotes and thick vegetation. . It's location and culture make it a point of interest for those exploring the Yucatan Peninsula.

Many of the tour buses stop here for a traditional lunch on their way to visit Chichen Itza . While visiting here, you can watch a shaman ritual and traditional dancers. There is also a gift shop, restaurant and tequilla tasting shop located here.
