Cabo San Lucas is a vibrant coastal city located at the southernmost tip of Mexico’s Baja California Peninsula. It is known for its famous arch at Land's End where the Pacific Ocean meets the Sea of Cortez. Also Cabo San Lucas is known for it's luxurious resorts, lively nightlife, and natural beauty. The founder of Cabo San Lucas was Cipriano Ceseña in 1788 who arrived from Hermosillo, Sonora. In 1917, an American company built a floating platform to catch tuna. The development of Cabo San Lucas's tourism industry was prompted by the Mexican government's development of infrastructure to turn Cabo San Lucas into a major center for tourism in Mexico in 1974.

We visited Cabo San Lucas on 11/2/2024 and while there we took a glass bottom boat tour to the arch and afterwards walked around the harbor visiting the Parroquia San Lucas church, the central plaza, the Museum of Natural History, and the various shops in the downtown area.
