We spent 2 nights in Miraflores from 10/15 to 10/17/2025. While there, we walked around the area visiting the local parks and the Malecon de Miraflores.

Located about 10 kilometers (6 miles) from Lima’s historic center, Miraflores stretches along the city’s cliffs, offering stunning views of the Pacific Ocean. The neighborhood is famous for its manicured parks, oceanfront promenades, luxury hotels, and vibrant nightlife. It’s clean, safe, and walkable—making it a favorite for both locals and visitors.

The Malecón de Miraflores, a scenic 10-kilometer walkway along the coast, is the district’s highlight. Here, joggers, cyclists, and couples enjoy panoramic ocean views while paragliders soar above. If you visit at sunset, the glowing sky and sea views will take your breath away.

1. Parque del Amor (Love Park)

Inspired by Barcelona’s Park Güell, Parque del Amor features colorful mosaics, romantic quotes, and a giant sculpture of a couple embracing. It’s one of the most photographed spots in Lima and a perfect place to catch the sunset.
