Casablanca in Morocco has a rich cultural heritage with influences from France, Spain, and Portugal

Casablanca is a city located in western Morocco and is the largest city in the country. It is a major economic center and is one of the largest ports in Africa. 

On 4/13/2012, we visited Casablanca. 

Casablanca is known for its modern architecture, including the Hassan II Mosque, which is one of the largest mosques in the world and can accommodate over 100,000 worshippers. The city also has a vibrant arts and culture scene, with several museums, theaters, and galleries, as well as parks, gardens, and other public spaces.

In addition to its cultural attractions, Casablanca is also known for its cuisine, with a wide range of traditional Moroccan dishes, such as couscous and tagine, as well as international restaurants and cafes. The city also has a lively nightlife, with many bars, nightclubs, and other entertainment venues.

Overall, Casablanca is a bustling city with a rich history and a vibrant modern culture, making it a popular destination for tourists.
