What to see and do in Moulay Bousselham, Morocco

Moulay Bousselham is situated high on sand dunes overlooking the Atlantic coast.

Moulay Bousselham is a small town located in the province of Khemisaet in the Tanger-Tétouan-Al Hoceima region of Morocco.  It is  known for its natural beauty and its rich history. The area is famous for its scenic beaches and wetlands, which are home to a variety of bird species and other wildlife. 

On 5/4/2014, we visited Moulay Bousselham. We had lunch in a restaurant overlooking the coast and then visited the beach.

Moulay Bousselham is also known for its traditional Moroccan architecture, with many of its buildings featuring traditional mud-brick construction and intricate tilework. The town has a number of historic sites and monuments, including a shrine dedicated to Moulay Bousselham, a medieval scholar and saint.

In addition to its natural beauty and rich history, Moulay Bousselham is also a popular destination for outdoor activities such as fishing, boating, and bird watching. The town is surrounded by several nature reserves, including the Larache marshes, which is a designated Ramsar site and is considered one of the most important wetlands in Morocco.

Overall, Moulay Bousselham is a unique and picturesque town that offers visitors a chance to experience the traditional culture and natural beauty of Morocco.
