Ouzoud is a small village located in the Atlas Mountains in Morocco, known for its spectacular waterfalls and scenic beauty.

 It's a popular tourist destination, offering opportunities for hiking, swimming, and exploring the local culture. The 330 ft Ouzoud waterfall is the second highest in Africa. It is in the Atlas Mountains 90 miles east of Marrakech.

On 5/5/14 to 5/6/14, we stayed at a small Berber inn (Hotel Chellal d'Ouzoud) near the waterfalls that was hundreds of years old. We walked along the paths and bridges surrounding the falls The paths and falls are lighted at night providing a spectacular view of the waterfalls. We saw lots of barbary macaque are in the area.

The Ouzoud Falls, which are one of the most popular attractions in the area, are a series of waterfalls cascading down into the valley below. Visitors can walk along the paths and bridges that provide stunning views of the falls and the surrounding landscape.

In addition to the natural beauty, Ouzoud is also home to a number of traditional Berber villages, where visitors can see traditional architecture and learn about the local way of life. There are also several olive groves in the area, and visitors can try locally produced olive oil and other traditional food items.

Overall, Ouzoud is a peaceful and serene place that offers a chance to escape from the hustle and bustle of city life and experience the natural beauty and traditional culture of Morocco.
