Iguazu Falls is a colossal waterfall located on the border of Argentina and Brazil

Also, it is only 10 miles from the border with Paraguay where it empties into the Parana river. The falls are a UNESCO World Heritage site and are widely regarded as one of the most beautiful natural wonders in the world.

We set up the trip to visit Iguazu Falls thru Viator. It was amazing. A driver picked us up at the Marriott at 6:00 am and drove us to the airport. From there, we flew to Iguazu airport, where we were met by our guide, Gaston, and a driver who took us to the park. Once in the park, we took the train to the upper falls. Afterward, we visited the middle falls. We then ate lunch. Our guide took us to the Iguazu Jungle central ticket center where we bought tickets for the boat ride under the falls. From there, we traveled by truck to the boat dock. The boat ride thru the rapids and under the falls was great. We then traveled by truck to the park entrance where our guide met us and contacted the driver who returned us to the airport for the flight back to Buenos Aires. Our first driver met us and took us back to the hotel. It was 11:15 pm. Highly recommend this tour even though it makes for a very long day.

The area surrounding the falls is a protected national park that spans over 6,672 acres and is home to a diverse range of flora and fauna. Visitors to the park can take guided tours, walk along trails, and view the falls from observation platforms. The park also offers a range of activities such as boat tours, hiking, river tubing, and birdwatching.

The falls are accessible from both the Argentine and Brazilian sides, with each side offering a unique perspective of the falls. The Argentine side is known for its panoramic views and hiking trails that allow visitors to get up close to the falls, while the Brazilian side is famous for its panoramic views from across the river.
