Jurassic Park Falls in Kauai, Hawaii is famous for appearing in Steven Spielberg’s classic movie

Manawaiopuna Falls stands 400 feet tall and is famous for appearing in Steven Spielberg’s classic movie, Jurassic Park. Numerous helicopter operators fly over the waterfall following the same route as in the opening scene of the movie as part of their tour itinerary offering breathtaking aerial views of this famous film location. But, because Manawaiopuna Falls is located on private land, only a few of the helicopter operators have permission to land at the base of the waterfall.​

We visited the waterfall as part of our helicopter tour with Safari Helicopters on 12/21/2023.
