Hanamaulu Bay, Kauai, Hawaii was the filming location for the 1960's movie, Blue Hawaii

Hanamaulu Bay is located just north of Lihue Airport on Kauai's east shore and it was the filming location for the 1960's movie, Blue Hawaii, which starred Elvis Pressley.

The Ahukini Recreational Pier located here gives you a scenic view of Hanamaulu Bay. It is a popular spot for fishing and watching planes land at the airport.

We made a short stop here on 12/22/2023 as we viewed the area.
