 Naguabo is located on the eastern coast of Puerto Rico

 Naguabo is situated  along the coast of the Caribbean Sea. The municipality of Naguabo encompasses both coastal areas and mountainous terrain. The town is known for its lush vegetation, including rainforests and tropical forests, which are part of the El Yunque National Forest.

Naguabo was founded in 1821 and officially established as a municipality in 1822. It has a rich history influenced by Taino indigenous culture and Spanish colonization.

Historically, Naguabo's economy has been based on agriculture, including sugarcane and citrus fruit production. In recent years, tourism has also become important, thanks to the natural beauty of the area and its proximity to the El Yunque National Forest.

Naguabo offers several attractions for visitors, including the Malecón de Naguabo which is a picturesque boardwalk along the waterfront with restaurants and scenic views. Naguabo Beach is a popular Caribbean beach for swimming, sunbathing, and water sports. The El Yunque National Forest is located nearby.
