The North Shore of Oahu in Hawaii is a 17-mile stretch of coastline that is famous for its surfing, snorkeling, and beaches. It is also a place of cultural and historical significance, as it is linked to legends. Numerous movies, and TV shows have been filmed here.

Sunset Beach, Banzai Pipeline, and Waimea Beach are some of the world’s most famous surfing beaches, where you can watch the pros ride the waves.

We visited Banzai Beach on 12/14/2023. It was very windy with high waves which were too dangerous for surfing. So, no one was in the water when we were there.

Visitors are advised not to snorkel within 3 days after arriving to Hawaii by air.
