What to see and do in Cadiz, Spain

Cádiz is a port city in the southwestern part of Spain, located on the Bay of Cádiz.

It is one of the oldest continuously inhabited cities in the world, with a history that dates back to the Phoenician era in the 11th century BC. Cádiz has been an important port and commercial center for centuries, and it has played a key role in Spanish history, including serving as the launching point for Christopher Columbus's voyages to the New World.

On 9/27/2007, from the port of Cadiz, we traveled by bus to Seville and then walked around the city after we returned.
