What to see and do in Ajaccio, Corsica, France
Corsica is a very large mountainous island in the Mediterranean Sea located southeast of France and west of Italy.

In 238 BC it was a province of the Roman Republic. It's been part of France since 1768, but retains a distinct Italian culture. Napoleon was born in Corsica and exiled here after his fall from power.
