What to see and do at Trearddur Bay, Wales

Trearddur Bay is a popular seaside resort located on the west coast of Holy island in North Wales

It is situated about 3 miles west of the town of Holyhead and is known for its beautiful sandy beach, crystal clear waters, and stunning views of the Snowdonia mountain range. It's history dates back to 1749.

Port Dafarch Beach

Just behind the Port Dafarch Beach, there are ancient Celtic hut circles visible next to the road to Holyhead. The site is thought to date from the Iron Age but  may have been in existence from the Neolithic to the Dark Ages, with different buildings being in use at different times.
